We will never select songs or artists based on what is trendy or "safe." Muddy Sunshine puts the job of making great music ahead of everything else. We don't "churn it out." We hand select writers and artists that WE LOVE and then we go to work making a record that will make them, and everyone else, smile.

When recording at Muddy Sunshine, we strive to listen through the ears of the songwriters and performers. Many artists we meet, tell us they've never been happy with one of their albums. Wow, what's wrong with that picture? The art of making great records has nearly been lost. The standard for what passes for an album has never been lower.

While other people think the music business is dying, we think there's never been a better time to be alive and making music. The ears of the world are ready and straining with anticipation to hear some truly great songs. Music should make you laugh. It should make you cry. It should make you mad. It should make you think.
