LoveKrafty receives the official "Muddy Sunshine Fruit Basket" for signing record deal!

This week at Muddy Sunshine: LoveKrafty with Mike Behymer, who is perhaps Nashville's finest arranger and composer, scored and directed the string arrangements for several songs on the new album. The experience of watching the musicians put the string parts together was pure magic. "It was one of those days in the studio that you live for!" says LoveKrafty.

You know, we have promised that we will never sign anyone we don't love and Lord-have-mercy, we love LoveKrafty! At Muddy Sunshine we've worn out the repeat button on his music.

LoveKrafty is an unbelievably talented person. His songs are a fantastic fusion of old and new, electronic rock n' roll, gut raw and mirror polished.

Muddy Sunshine is t-minus one month to launch! Our mission statement is "Waking up the world with music!" and we intend to do just that. Our first three records will be available February 2008. And what records are you releasing, you might ask? Well, here we go-

Lani Nash, Holy Guacamole, what a talent! She and Steve Durr are putting the wraps on her album- I'm Only Here For The Music/Lani Nash. I guarantee it is going to be a MONSTER. The songs on this record are spectacular. Many of the tracks are destined to be classics. The recording is old school, thanks to the world-renowned acoustical genius Steve Durr. Everything was cut analog to a Studer 16 track tape machine. For you who don't know about analog. No one does it that way anymore. There are no loops, drum machines or software plugins on this record, it is ALL PURE TALENT! This album will grab you by the heart. Let's you and I watch the songs climb the charts, it's going to be a blast!

We are scant millimeters from mixing down Billy Smith's record. Who is Billy Smith? Why, he is a walking, talking bluegrass poet, a true legend in Nashville. Muddy Sunshine signed him and we intend to cut more records on Billy than Carter has liver pills. He has written nearly 103 kazillion songs and has had nearly 80 cuts! Billy has the purest bluegrass voice we've heard and is the best dang bluegrass and gospel songwriter on the planet
Billy grew up around songwriting and performing legends such as Bill Monroe, Kris Kristofferson, Waylon Jennings, Kinky Friedman, Shel Silverstein, Harlan Howard, Guy Clark, John Hartford, Billy Joe Shaver, etc. He and his band's on-stage persona will put on a show that will blow you over. Keep an eye out for his 15 song record. It was also recorded live and those boys are PLAYERS!

And..Rocky Alvey himself, has an album hot off the presses, also to be released in February. It is called "Blackberry Jam and Other Fresh Ingredients." What can we say about Rocky?
We can guarantee you will never hear an album or songs like those he writes. Forged in the fires of life, one minute he will put you on the floor laughing with songs like The Farm Fitness Club, and the next moment you will be sobbing at the heart-wrenching Sarah's Letter or The Muddy Coal Mine. Rocky is THE master storyteller. Whether he is writing rock n' roll, or bluegrass or folk or gospel or classical or some shade in between, his songs will stick in your soul!
